Changsha Rated as "China's Hot City for Investment"

The 22nd China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, is held in Xiamen from September 8 to 11. At the fair, Changsha was rated as "China's Hot City for Investment" for its continuously increasing strategic opportunities, distinctive industrial characteristics, agglomerated innovative factors, favorable business environment, and unique urban charm. 

Since 2022, Changsha has ranked first among capital cities in central China in terms of the growth rate and  utilized foreign investment. From January to July, Changsha's actual use of foreign capital surged 92.55% year-on-year to 2.124 billion US dollars, accounting for 87.2% of the province's total. A total of 111 new major projects were introduced, with a total investment of 150.83 billion yuan. Fifty projects invested by "Fortune Global 500", "Chinese Top 500", and "Chinese Private Top 500" enterprises were introduced, with a total investment of 55.449 billion yuan. The city's vitality in attracting investment continued to be strong.

During the CIFIT, the Changsha delegation attended activities including the "China's Hot Cities for Investment" exhibition publicity event, a promotion conference, and a plaque-awarding ceremony. They also visited Optosky, Luckin Coffee headquarters, and other enterprises.
