The All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) released the 2022 list of the top 500 Chinese private enterprises on September 7. Seven Hunan enterprises were on the list.

The seven Hunan enterprises on the list included:

-- Sany Group, with revenue of 154.56 billion yuan in 2021, ranks 49th;

-- Lens Technology Group, with revenue of 109.31 billion yuan, ranking 78th;

-- Dahan Group, with revenue of 67.532 billion yuan, ranking 143rd;

-- Hunan Bochang Holding Group Co., Ltd., with revenue of 62.157 billion yuan, ranking 161st;

-- Better Life Investment Group Co., Ltd., with revenue of 40.867 billion yuan, ranking 275th;

-- Hunan Wujiang Holding Group Co., Ltd., with revenue of 36.987 billion yuan, ranking 313th; and,

-- Huaze Group Co., Ltd., with revenue of 31.949 billion yuan, ranking 365th.

This is the 24th consecutive survey of large-scale private enterprises organized by the ACFIC. A total of 8,602 enterprises with an annual revenue of more than 500 million yuan each took part in the survey this year. The entry threshold for the top 500 private enterprises increased by 2.866 billion yuan from a year ago to 26.367 billion yuan. The total revenue of the top 500 private enterprises was 38.32 trillion yuan in 2021, up 9.13%. JD Group, Alibaba Group, and Hengli Group were the top three enterprises on the list. JD Group bagged the first spot among the top 100 private enterprises, with revenue of 951.592 billion yuan.

The ACFIC also released the 2022 list of the top 500 Chinese private enterprises in manufacturing industry and the 2022 list of the top 100 Chinese private enterprises in service industry. Eight Hunan enterprises made the list of the top 500 Chinese private enterprises in manufacturing industry, including Sany Group, Lens Technology Group, Hunan Bochang Holding Group Co., Ltd., Hunan Wujiang Holding Group Co., Ltd., Huaze Group Co., Ltd., Tangrenshen Group, Kibing Group, and Gold Cup. Dahan Group and Better Life Investment Group Co., Ltd. were shortlisted for the top 100 Chinese private enterprises in service industry.
