In recent years, large numbers of teachers streamed into impoverished mountainous areas in response to the government's call. They left comfortable living environment and families in urban areas to pass on knowledge in rural areas and enrich the life of the kids in mountains with their specialty in arts. In spite of tough living conditions and meager pay, they shouldered the responsibility of guarding the kids and developing education in the mountainous areas.
