A press conference on the 2022 Hunan (Liling) International Ceramic Industry Expo was held on September 2nd in Changsha. It was announced at the meeting that the expo would be held from September 28th to October 3rd at the China Ceramic Valley International Convention and Exhibition Center in Liling, Zhuzhou. During the expo, 30 cultural and tourism projects will be signed, with a contract value of about 20 billion yuan.
With the theme of "Colorful Liling Heading Toward a 100-Billion-Yuan Era" this year, the expo covers an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters. There are 1,350 standard booths in five exhibition halls featuring ceramics and tourism products, brand ceramics, Liling ceramics, international ceramics, and the fireworks industry. Companies and individuals from 20 countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, Japan, and Denmark, will participate. More than 2,000 guests are planned to be invited. The total number of attendees is expected to exceed 300,000, and more than 800,000 tourists will be attracted.
During the expo, 26 themed activities in 4 categories will be held, including a "porcelain +" art appreciation event, Hunan, Hubei and Jiangxi journalists visiting Liling and other offline activities, as well as internet celebrities visiting the expo, product live streaming promotion event, online exhibitions, and other online activities.
This year's expo will be held concurrently with the first Zhuzhou Tourism Development Conference and Liling Fireworks Exchange Conference. A variety of interactive activities will be arranged with the focus of "porcelain + tea", "porcelain + fireworks", "porcelain + wine", and "porcelain + cultural tourism".
Liling is the home of underglaze five-coloured porcelain and an export base of Hunan porcelain. The expo has been held successfully for five sessions since 2015, with more than 1.6 million visits. The value of contracts on site reached more than 10 billion yuan, and on-site procurement hit 6.6 billion yuan, contributing to more than 30 billion yuan in consumption.
