Secretary Zhang, on behalf of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Hunan Province, welcomed the guests and thanked Yihai Kerry for its contributions to the economic and social development of Hunan Province. He introduced that Hunan is known as the "land of fish and rice". It is now fully implementing the positioning, missions, and tasks of the "Three Hubs and Four New Missions" Strategy, and accelerating the building of a new modern Hunan, which would create huge consumption potential and unlimited business opportunities.

He expected Yihai Kerry to increase its investment layout in Hunan; deepen cooperation with Hunan in such fields as food and agricultural product processing; keep promoting projects construction of grain, oil and food production and processing bases and central kitchens in Hunan; and, strengthening the industrial chain construction from the fields to the people's dining tables, to achieve a higher level of mutually beneficial and win-win development. Hunan will strengthen elements and policy guarantees, continuously optimize the business environment, improve the level of opening up, and provide high-quality services for the development of enterprises in Hunan, he added.

Chairman Kuok briefed on the production, operation, and development of Yihai Kerry, and thanked Hunan for its strong support for the company's development in Hunan. He remarked that Hunan has huge market potential and hoped to further enhance collaboration with Hunan in food and agricultural product processing, and make new and greater contributions to the high-quality development of Hunan.
