Hunan Enterprises Participate in CIFTIS 2022

The 2022 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) opened in Beijing on August 31. Twenty-five Hunan enterprises participated in the event via online or offline channels.

The Hunan Pavilion is located in the comprehensive exhibition area for provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in the China National Convention Center. Hunan's profile and highlights are showcased in this 100-sq.m pavilion, including spectacular landscapes in Zhangjiajie; Changsha as a national demonstration city in service outsourcing; the China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone; Malanshan Video, Cultural, and Creative Industrial Park; the national bases for featured services export (Traditional Chinese Medicine); the national bases for featured services export (human resource service); and, some leading service enterprises. 


Among the participating Hunan enterprises, 12 participate both online and offline exhibitions; 10 are displayed online; and, 3 hold physical booths. The persons in charge of the Changsha and Liling national cultural export bases will attend the 2nd National Cultural Export Base Forum.

Hunan's service trade has progressed remarkably in recent years. Changsha City was designated as a national demonstration city for service outsourcing and a national cultural export base, and recognized by the UNESCO as a City of Media Arts. Liling City was shortlisted for the second batch of the national cultural export bases. In 2021, Hunan's import and export value of service industry hit 4.06 billion US dollars.

CIFTIS, formerly the China (Beijing) International Fair for Trade in Services, which was initiated in 2012, is the world's first comprehensive fair for trade in services, and also one of the three major exhibition platforms for China's opening-up. The 2022 CIFTIS is held at the Shougang Park and the China National Convention Center, between August 31 and September 5. The total exhibition area reaches 152,000 sqm.
