Hunan released a set of new versions of standard maps on August 29, the annual provincial Publicity Day of the Surveying and Mapping Law of the People's Republic of China.

Free download service is available on the platform of the "Map World" Hunan Provincial Platform for Common GeoSpatial Information Services.

The new versions include standard maps of Hunan Province and Hunan's municipalities and counties. Seventeen provincial maps in four scales are provided, in folio, octavo, 16mo, and 32mo sizes. 

In the standard maps column, the maps are classified into the provincial, municipal, and county (county-level city and district) levels, and can be searched by release time, categories, and sizes. Visitors can download the maps they need via one click.

In order to improve the public-benefit map services, the Hunan Department of Natural Resources compiled dozens of industrial maps in addition to the standard ones, to satisfy the geospatial information demands of various departments and industries.
