Hunan, CNIPA to Co-build Hunan into IP Powerhouse

The China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and the People's Government of Hunan Province held a promotion conference in Changsha on August 25, 2022. They aimed to jointly build Hunan into an intellectual property powerhouse in line with the "Three Hubs and Four New Missions" Strategy. Zhang Qingwei, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress, met with Shen Changyu, secretary of the CPC Leadership Group and director of CNIPA. Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and governor of the People's Government of Hunan Province, attended.

On August 25, a promotion conference on CNIPA-Hunan co-building Hunan into an intellectual property powerhouse in line with the "Three Hubs and Four New Missions" Strategy was held in Changsha. Governor Mao and CNIPA Director Shen offered awards to the winners of the China Patent Gold Award.


Director Shen inspected sci-tech innovation and intellectual property transformation and application in the State Key Laboratory of Powder Metallurgy and the Intellectual Property Center of Central South University, and the Zhongye Changtian International Engineering Co., Ltd.

At the promotion conference, CNIPA announced the approval for the construction of the Hunan National Intellectual Property Protection Center and the Xiangtan National Intellectual Property Protection Center, and presented awards to the projects winning the China Patent Gold Award. Changsha and Xiangtan were rated as demonstration cities for the construction of national intellectual property strong powerhouses.


Provincial leaders Xie Weijiang and He Baoxiang, and CNIPA deputy director Lu Pengqi, participated in relevant activities.
