There were two new cases out of quarantine. There were 7 people under medical observation (including 3 imported cases).

Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on August 23, 2022, a total of 202 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 61 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 10 patients hospitalized, and no severe cases. One hundred and ninety-two patients were discharged from hospitals (including 61 imported cases). No people had died.
