A Huaihua-Hanoi international freight train along the China-Vietnam Railway departed from Huaihua International Land Port at 11:00 on August 15th. Loaded with Zhijiang Dong Autonomous County agricultural products, the train would travel southward via the Jiaozuo-Liuzhou Railway, pass through Liuzhou and Nanning cities, and leave China via the Pingxiang Port. It is scheduled to arrive in Hanoi in five days.

The train carries 20 TEUs of goods, with a rough weight of 210 tons and a value of 15 million yuan. This was the first time that Zhijiang agricultural products were exported via the international freight train service since the Huaihua International Land Port initiated the strategy of promoting Huaihua products. It marked that Zhijiang County made a new step in integrating into the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor and the Huaihua International Land Port.

The RCEP agreement, which took effect on January 1st, 2022, provides new opportunities for Zhijiang to expand the "circle of friends" in foreign trade. Zhijiang government has an accurate understating of the strategic positioning and preferential policies of RCEP while seizing this primary opportunity and closely integrating the construction of "three cities and one center" with the construction of Huaihua International Land Port. The government also gives full play to the advantages of transportation, products, tourism and ecology, and accelerates the structure of the "Huaihua (Zhijiang) Airport Logistics Industrial Park" project, and strives to build an essential center of opening up in inland regions.

"Three cities and one center" refers to building Zhijiang into a world-famous tourist city, China's charming city of Dong ethnic group, Hunan Airport Industrial New City, and Huaihua City Sub-center.
