Products from Xupu County, Huaihua City, are ready to be shipped to Nigeria on August 13th evening.

At 7 o'clock on August 14th, a cargo plane carrying basketballs and other sports goods produced by enterprises in Xupu County, Huaihua City, took off from the Changsha Huanghua International Airport for Nigeria. This delivery is the first time that Xupu products, relying on the Yuhua block of Hunan Pilot Free Trade Zone Changsha Area, have entered the African market through the market procurement trade mode. 

Yuhua District of Changsha has been offering pairing-up assistance to Xupu County. In July this year, Xupu County signed a cooperation agreement with the Yuhua block of Hunan Pilot Free Trade Zone Changsha Area. As a result, enterprises in Xupu County can leverage the advantages of the pilot free trade zone and the conveniences brought about by the market procurement trade pilot work to enlarge their export scale. Previously, Xupu enterprises made foreign trade primarily through foreign trade companies, which was a significant expense for small and medium-sized enterprises to expand foreign trade. By relying on the market procurement trade mode, they can enjoy quick customs clearance, special supervision, exemption from value-added tax, and other policy stimuli.

Since last year, Yuhua District has encouraged and assisted key foreign trade enterprises in establishing export and import trading companies in Xupu to help local goods "go global". As a result, from January to June this year, Yuhua District helped Xupu export daily necessities, electronic products, and other goods, with the total foreign trade value amounting to 11.43 million US dollars.
