There were no new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were no new cases out of quarantine. There were 8 people under medical observation (including 4 imported cases).

Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on August 6, 2022, a total of 190 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 61 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 3 patients hospitalized (including 2 imported cases), and no severe cases. One hundred and eighty-seven patients were discharged from hospitals (including 59 imported cases). No people had died.
