Wulingyuan Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie City implemented a reservation system to enable first-timers to book tickets of different time periods at different check-ins starting from August 4. The scenic area will cooridnate tourists’ touring hours based on reservation information.

Individual tourists are required to show their proofs of booking and identification documents before entrance. Group tourists who book tickets via Zhangjiajie Pass Tourism Platform [张家界全域通] should show travel itineraries marked with the information of check-in and touring hours before visiting. Those who are qualified to get discount tickets are required to buy tickets at the ticket office and show qualified travel itineraries before entrance.

As the summer travel peak season comes, Wulingyuan Scenic Area gives the following reminders to tourists.
-- Real-name ticketing is required. Check in with valid identification documents including ID cards, passports, and Exit-Entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao, and through facial recognition at reservation time periods;
-- A tourist group with more than 800 people should report to the check-in at least one day in advance;
-- Contact with the check-in when failing to keep the reservation because of unexpected causes such as traffic delay and weather change; and,
--Tourists are encouraged to make reservation via a WeChat mini program named “张家界一机游”. 

Wulingyuan Scenic Area also released the service hotlines of all check-ins to facilitate ticket purchase and consultation.
