The Changsha Huanghua International Airport handled 70,838 passenger trips on July 29, making a 6.85% increase compared with the same period of last year. The passenger throughput in a single day resumed to its normal level, hitting over 70,000, after a depression for 297 days. The summer travel peak began. 

Since the summer vacation began, the Changsha airport has vigorously coordinated with the authority to operate the flight schedule. Added flights and summer travel routes are arranged to offer more options to the passengers. Meanwhile, a series of preferential measures are carried out, including air ticket discounts, travel gifts, and special shuttle bus, check-in, and security check channel services for university faculty and students.  

On July 31, the Changsha airport collaborated with Xiamen Airlines and the Hunan Air Travel to organize the fourth aviation scientific popularization activity for kids. The previous three activities on this theme was respectively held on July 23, 24, and 30.

Next, the airport will continue to enhance the development of airline market, leverage the superior resources, strengthen guarantee capacity, increase air routes, and provide more preferential services, according to a person in charge of the airport. These would help facilitate the pass-by travelers and  tourists to Changsha, and insert new impetus to the resumption of the summer aviation market.
