The number of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan intercity trains passing through Zhuzhou has adjusted starting from 0:00 on July 30. There are a total of 117 pairs of trains put into service, including 52 pairs of new passenger trains running between Changsha and Zhuzhou South, 52.2 pairs of new passenger trains running between Changsha and Xiangtan, and 12.5 pairs of new passenger trains running between Lugu and Xiangtan, between Lugu and Zhuzhou South, and between Lugu and Changsha.
The new station building of the Zhuzhou Railway Station was put into use recently. According to the new train diagram, the number of intercity trains operated at the station has increased from 39 to 113 to better meet the needs of commuters. Among them, there are 58 trains bound for Changsha and 55 bound for Zhuzhou South, including six trains for weekends and eight for rush hours. The trains run regularly every day with a departure internal of 10 to 20 minutes. Nearly all trains stop at Zhuzhou South, Dafeng, and Tianxin East stations. This adjustment can provide more comfortable and convenient travel conditions for inter- or intra-city passengers.
