It was learned that the Changde-Yiyang-Changsha Railway is about 157 kilometers long with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. It is an important part of the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network. Upon completion, it will enable all the 13 cities and 1 prefecture provincewide to get access to high-speed rail.
