A Hunan ancient village photography exhibition opened at the Changsha Library on July 16. Tan Jianhua's new album of the ancient villages in east and west Hunan was released at the event. More than 130 photography, rubbing, calligraphy, and painting works by Tan and his team were displayed. Tan and his team members toured more than 800 ancient villages in over 80 counties and county-level regions provincewide in 15 years, comprehensively and vividly recording the layout, architectural features, living conditions, and historical preservations in Hunan's ancient villages.
