During the 24 hours of July 16, there were two new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases reported in Hunan (imported cases). There was one new asymptomatic case re-categorized as a confirmed case (imported case). There were two new cases out of quarantine (imported cases). There were 4 people under medical observation (imported cases).

Between 0:00 on January 1, 2022 and 24:00 on July 16, 2022, a total of 186 confirmed COVID-19 cases had been reported in Hunan (including 58 imported cases). There were 6 patients hospitalized (imported cases), and no severe cases. One hundred and eighty patients were discharged from hospitals (including 52 imported cases). No people had died.
