The Changsha Metro Group Co., Ltd. announced on July 6 that, Changsha's 6 metro lines will extend their operating hours to 24:00 every Friday and Saturday from July 8 to August 27. The move is to facilitate night trips and boost the city's nighttime economy.

Changsha South Railway Station, as a transfer station of Line 2 and Line 4 and an important transportation hub connecting the high-speed rail and maglev, has seen a significant increase in passenger flow during the summer vacation.

As the summer travel rush begins, Changsha Metro Group has upgraded the ticketing equipment of Changsha South Railway Station to further improve customer service quality and passenger travel efficiency. Ten ticket vending machines have been added at the No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 entrances and exits which have a large passenger flow, so as to further improve passengers' travel experience.
