Two short-distance air travel routes will open within July, respectively between Hunan's Chenzhou and Jiangxi's Ganzhou and between Hunan's Zhuzhou and Zhangjiajie. A manager of the Hunan General Aviation Co., Ltd. told the details of the routes at a press conference of the 2022 Hunan International General Aviation Industry Expo on July 5.
The Zhuzhou-Zhangjiajie route is also highly anticipated. Upon operation later this month, this round trip will take about one hour and a half, also served by eight-people aircraft. The estimated ticket price is 200 yuan/person.
Such air tours can link several scenic spots on different travel routes, unlike the conventional civil aviation routes, which fly towards specific destinations and mainly serve business trips. Beyond that, the small-sized aircraft may be outsourced to travel agencies to provide chartered flight services and tourism promotions. "Passengers can experience the all-for-one tourism service in such air tours. It is an emerging consumption and has huge market potential," the manager said.
Such short-distance general aviation service features "small-sized aircraft, short routes, and short travel time”. It provides an efficient option for travelers from remote areas. It will be essential in complementing the existing aviation network and building China into an aviation powerhouse.
