The 2022 Hunan International General Aviation Industry Expo will be held in Changsha and Zhuzhou from August 31 to September 4, according to a press briefing held by the Information Office of Hunan Provincial People's Government on July 5.

The theme of the expo is "General Aviation Ushers in a Better Life". The main venue is located at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center. There is a sub-venue for air show at the Zhuzhou Lusong Airport. A "1+2+N' activity pattern will be followed, and various activities will be thoughtfully planned and organized.

"1" means a major event: the opening ceremony and a themed forum, which will be held at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center on September 1. The opening ceremony will be followed by a forum which focuses on the reform of low-altitude airspace management and the new business forms, trends, policies, technologies and systems of low-altitude economy. 

"2" refers to an exhibition and an air show. The exhibition will be held at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center, with a planned area of 70,000 square meters. It is comprised of sections such as general aviation manufacturing, general aviation application, UAV, Beidou and 5G application, general aviation service, general aviation science popularization, and general aviation experience. The air show will be staged at the Zhuzhou Lusong Airport. Renowned air show teams will be invited to give performances, showing the application scenarios of various general aircrafts.

"N" refers to several themed and supporting activities, including the General Aviation Manufacturing and Industry Innovation Forum, General Aviation Space Geographic Information Industry Development Forum, China Aviation Emergency Rescue Summit Forum, China General Aviation Airport Construction and Operation Development Forum, Hunan International General Aviation Industry Talent Conference, First Changsha Low-altitude Sports Flight Festival, Hunan Youth Aerospace Model Open Competition, Hunan Air Travel, and Hunan Aviation Science Popularization Carnival.
