It was learned from the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province that the 2022 Hunan (Changsha) Cross-border E-commerce Trade Fair will be held at the Hunan International Convention and Exhibition Center between July 22 and 24.
This year's fair, themed "Getting Connected with the World to Share New Opportunities", aims to create the most authoritative and influential cross-border e-commerce event in central China. The exhibition area is 22,000 square meters. There are five exhibition areas respectively for cross-border e-commerce platforms, service providers, product selection enterprises and industrial belts, imported commodities and cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones, and key industrial parks and zones. Major activities such as the opening ceremony and pavilion tour will be held during the period. An array of special seminars and economic and trade negotiations will be organized on such topics as guiding the real economy to integrate into the new forms and models of foreign trade, and accelerating digital transformation and upgrading.
Cross-border e-commerce industrial associations in various provinces and cities across the country, well-known cross-border e-commerce companies, and major domestic purchasing groups will participate in the event. For example, 17 global leading cross-border e-commerce platforms such as Jumia, eBay, and Amazon; 49 cross-border e-commerce service providers such as J&T International Logistics, Hangzhou Ping Pong, and Payoneer; comprehensive large-scale commercial banks including the Bank of China and the Agricultural Bank of China; more than 10 industrial belts including consumer electronic products, luggage, clothing, and hardware products, wigs, daily-use ceramics, and fishing gear and fish floats, will join the exhibition. More than 300 products selection enterprises and over 100,000 product categories will appear at the exhibition site.
Hunan now has 4 national cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones and 6 cross-border e-commerce retail import pilot cities. The number of national-level platforms ranks at the forefront among the provinces in central and western China. Last year, Hunan's import and export volume of cross-border e-commerce increased by 89.7% year on year, which was 74.7 percentage points higher than the national average.
