Governor Mao thanked SGCC for its long-term support for Hunan's economic and social development. He noted that Hunan is now vigorously promoting the construction of modern energy system represented by electricity, to provide solid foundation for high-quality development. In recent years, thanks to the strong backup of SGCC, Hunan has been deeply implementing the new strategy of energy security; coordinating electricity to guarantee supply, coal price, and security; and, ensuring the demand for energy, especially electricity, for high-quality development.

He expected SGCC to give full play to the role of power grid resource allocation; increase the efforts of transmitting electricity to Hunan from outside; support Hunan to protect the people's livelihood, safety, and major concerns; and, go all out to fight the battle of guaranteeing power supply. He believed that both sides would continue deepening mutually beneficial cooperation in green and low-carbon transformation of energy, the construction of "Ningxia Electric Power Serving Hunan" project, as well as the transformation of rural power grids, pumped-storage hydroelectricity, and clean energy of wind and solar power, to help Hunan develop high-quality and serve the high-quality life of the people.

General Manager Zhang thanked Hunan for its strong support for SGCC's development in Hunan. He remarked that Hunan is an important province in central China with a solid industrial foundation. In recent years, Hunan has witnessed strong momentum of high-quality development, and the electricity demand has grown rapidly. SGCC will shoulder its responsibilities and missions; continue to implement the strategic cooperation agreement between the two parties; strengthen pragmatic collaboration in the construction of power transmission channels, power grid resource allocation, and clean energy transformation and upgrading; and, resolutely hold the bottom line of power grid security and ensuring the power supply for people's basic needs. We will help Hunan play the important role of electricity as the top priority of the "Three Major Supports" in Hunan Province, and make greater contributions to the economic and social development of Hunan, he added.
