The 27th Hunan Cultural Relics Exchange Meeting was closed in Changsha on the afternoon of June 27. The exchange meeting lasted for 4 days and it was the first large-scale cultural relics exchange meeting held by a state-owned enterprise after the epidemic. More than 1,300 merchants from over 20 provinces and cities across the country displayed more than 200,000 exhibits, attracting more than 10,000 customers.

The Hunan Cultural Relics Exchange Meeting is held twice a year in spring and autumn. Due to the epidemic, this year's exchange meeting was postponed to summer, and the street-stall exchange meeting was cancelled and replaced by room exchange meeting.

Collectors displayed various cultural relics including jade ware, porcelain, bronze ware, and wood ware in 400 rooms of the Xiaoxiang Huatian Hotel, the main venue of the room exchange meeting. Most participants were regular customers of the exchange meeting. Yin Weidong, member of the China Association of Collectors, displayed nearly 600 pieces of Ming- and Qing-era Porcelain. "The collections are valued at nearly 60 million yuan. I would like to exchange views and trade with collectors from all over the country," said Yin.

According to collectors, due to the epidemic, the transaction volume and the flow of people this time have dropped significantly compared with previous sessions. A bronze collector surnamed Wang said that in the past his transaction amount reached a minimum of 600,000 yuan, but this time it is estimated to be around 500,000 yuan.

This year, the trend of holding "online" activities instead of the previous "offline" ones has become obvious. According to staff of the organizing committee, the online auction was particularly popular, with the online transaction volume and the number of participants reaching a record high.

The exchange meeting was hosted by the LHLG Cultural Equity Exchange Co., Ltd., and organized by the Office of the Preparatory Committee for the Commemoration of Zuo Zongtang's 210th Birthday in Xiangyin County, Hunan Yujian Cultural Creativity Co., Ltd., and Baozhen Culture Technology Co., Ltd. (Changsha Branch).
