Resettlement and Relocation Project for Fishermen Under Construction in Yuanjiang

On June 22, the Phase Ⅰ of the New Village Project for fishermen was under construction. The New Village is a relocation and resettlement project for fishermen who were banned from fishing in Yuanjiang City. It covers a total area of 262.3 mu (17.5 ha.), with a total construction area of 214,700 square meters and a total investment of 998 million yuan. The project is divided into two construction phases. At present, the Phase Ⅰ construction of ten 17-floor dwellings with 909 apartments equipped with elevators is progressing steadily.
