On June 18, Qunar, an online travel agency in China, released summer vacation travel big data. It showed that tourism market sees a strong recovering momentum. From June 1 to 15, the number of hotel reservations nationwide has more than doubled compared with the second half of May. China's top ten most popular tourist cities during summer vacation are: Chengdu, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Changsha, Xi'an, Wuhan, Kunming, and Urumqi.

Hotel bookings in some cities this summer have exceeded those of the same period last year. Especially in non-provincial capital cities, the growth of hotel bookings is faster than that in provincial capital cities, which shows a strong demand for local travel and short-distance tours in the province, as well as huge potential of cultural tourism resources.
