The 2nd Changsha Sports Consumption Festival was launched at the Happy Snowfield of Xiangjiang Joy Town on June 16. Changsha Vice Mayor Xiao Zhengbo attended and announced the start of the festival.

As a supporting activity for Changsha to build itself into a national sports consumption demonstration city, the festival adopts the mode of "government-guided, enterprises as the main players, and market operation". Three main activities, namely, presenting sports coupons worth millions of yuan (pre-tax), building the sports livestreaming platform "Changsha Sports Vision", and the 2022 Changsha Sports Consumption Carnival, will be held at stadiums, scenic spots and participating businesses or online.

Sports consumption coupons include 6,000 coupons each worth 20 yuan, 4,000 coupons each worth 100 yuan, and 2,000 coupons each worth 200 yuan. The first round of coupons worth 400,000 yuan were presented via the WeChat mini program of "City Integration Sports Consumption Platform [融城体育消费平台]" at 11:18 a.m. on June 16. The time to get and use the coupons is from June 16 to 23. Sports consumption coupons can be used together with the sports coupons provided by enterprises.

At the launching ceremony, the sports livestreaming platform "Changsha Sports Vision" was officially launched. The platform will promote sports products by means of cloud exhibitions, visits to offline stores, and online short videos. The 2022 Changsha Sports Consumption Carnival is composed of 13 popular events, sports and tourism integration projects, exhibitions and forums, which run through the whole year and cover various groups of people.

The festival is sponsored by the Changsha Municipal People's Government, undertaken by the Changsha Municipal Sports Bureau, and co-organized by the bureaus of culture, tourism, (radio, television) and sports of districts and counties (including county-level cities).
