Zhang Qingwei, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial People’s Congress, met in Changsha with Dai Hegen, secretary of the CPC Committee and chairman of the Board of the China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation Ltd. (CNCEC), on the afternoon of June 15, 2022.

On June 15, Secretary Zhang met with CNCEC Secretary Dai in Changsha.

Secretary Zhang, on behalf of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the People’s Government of Hunan Province, welcomed Secretary Dai and his entourage. He thanked CNCEC for its long-term support and participation in the economic and social development of Hunan Province. He noted that Hunan Province is thoroughly studying and implementing the spirit of President Xi Jinping’s important speeches, directives, and instructions on Hunan Province; fully carrying forward the positioning, missions, and tasks of the “Three Hubs and Four New Missions” Strategy; and, comprehensively building a modernized new Hunan.

He expected CNCEC to give full play to its advantages as a central enterprise in Party building, talents, technology, capital, management and other aspects; consolidate the results of cooperation with Hunan; deepen reform and innovation; promote "the industry that starts with crude oil and ends with chemicals"; and, jointly boost high-quality development. Hunan will provide better service guarantee for CNCEC’s thriving in Hunan and achieve win-win development.

Secretary Dai thanked Hunan for its strong support to CNCEC. He remarked that in the future, CNCEC will further optimize the allocation of resources in Hunan, and hoped that the two parties will enhance collaboration in such fields as high-end new chemical materials, chemical industry park development, and skilled personnel training, so as to make new contributions to the economic and social development of Hunan.
