Beginning from June 1 till June 30, 3,000 free tickets to the Wulingyuan core scenic area will be provided online every day. A total of 90,000 free tickets will be offered.

Several channels are available for ticket grabbing, including the “张家界一机游” WeChat mini program, the Zhangjiajie Scenic Area account on Douyin app, the “张家界旅游” WeChat official account, and Ctrip and Meituan websites. Each person has one chance to grab one free ticket on a real-name basis. A free admission will become effective two days after it is grabbed. Transportation services, including eco-shuttle bus, cableway, and Bailong Elevator, are not covered. 

A series of preferential policies will be rolled out in Zhangjiajie, including free student admissions and “buy one and get one free” for tour groups will be provided in the end of August; and, green channel of ticketing will be open to photographers and artists in late May next year.
