A full-loaded all-cargo carrier flew from Changsha to Bangkok, Thailand, on June 1, 2022. This was the first regular all-cargo air route connecting Changsha and Bangkok this year, and the 6th regular international air-freight route of the Changsha Huanghua International Airport.

This air route mainly serves the export of domestically-made ordinary products and e-commercial commodities, and the import of Thailand’s fruits. Four flights will be operated every week. The total throughput will reach 640 tons monthly.

In order to ensure safe and smooth flights amid the pandemic, the logistics subsidiary of the Hunan Airport Corporation had made arrangements in advance. It keeps up to date with the delivery plans and cargo categories, opens green channels, and adjusts cargo deposit regions, so as to improve customs clearance efficiency. Meanwhile, strict epidemic prevention measures are implemented. Trainings of anti-epidemic knowledge and protective device usage were organized to safeguard the maiden flight of the route.

The opening of this air route will greatly facilitate Hunan’s foreign trade development, and boost the construction of Changsha’s four-hour aviation economic circle. A manager of the Hunan Airport Corporation said that, the corporation will take measures to coordinate epidemic prevention and control with operation and management, ensure smooth operation of the international all-cargo flights and flight resumption, guarantee international logistics chain, and expand the network of air-freight routes.
