The Orange Isle Scenic Area Management Office announced on May 26 that, in accordance with the requirements of flood control work, the scenic area adjusted its closing time from 22:00 to 18:00 from that day due to the rising water level of the Xiangjiang River.

The water level of Changsha section of the Xiangjiang River has dropped, and footpaths along the riverside have been cleaned and disinfected. As a result, the Orange Isle Scenic Area resumes normal opening hours (7:00-22:00) from May 27, 2022, according to an announcement released by the scenic area’s management office.

In order to ensure the safety of tourists during the flood season, the scenic area may adjust its opening hours according to the flood situation. Tourists are advised to follow the updates of the scenic area before making travel arrangements.
