

Putou Village in Jiangfang Township, Chenbu Miao Autonomous County, has more than 100 well-preserved ancient buildings which were built during the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1912). In recent years, the village has taken the opportunity of constructing beautiful countryside to enhance protection and renovation of ancient dwellings and improve sanitation. The overall environment is becoming more beautiful, which has attracted numerous visitors. In 2019, Putou Village was included in the fifth national list of traditional villages.
