On the morning of May 16, the Information Office of the Hunan Provincial People’s Government held a press conference in Changsha City. It announced that the 10th Global Forum for Hunan Entrepreneurs will convene in Zhuzhou City on May 22 and 23. The opening ceremony will be held on the morning of May 23 both online and offline.
 
The forum is held every two years and has been held for nine sessions so far. More than 2,000 projects were signed with an investment of over 900 billion yuan. Themed “Welcome Home, Together for a New Hunan”, the forum aims to gather Hunan entrepreneurs from all over the world to express their nostalgia and seek common development, through a combination of online and offline methods.
 
The activities include the presidium meeting of the Global Alliance of Hunan Entrepreneurs, the opening ceremony of the form, the Young Entrepreneurs Forum, the Zhuzhou City Industrial Chain Construction Matchmaking Conference, and the Zhangjiajie Cultural Tourism Industry Key Project Negotiation Conference.
 
Hunan has taken the forum as a platform, focused on advanced manufacturing projects, and actively organized investment negotiations, to help bring about signing of an array of major projects. The total investment of the projects to be signed at this session has exceeded 100 billion yuan. As of May 15, there were 162 provincial-level projects to be inked, with a total investment of 127.16 billion yuan.
