On May 10, the 2022 Hunan Spring Rural Cultural Tourism Festival opened in Goulan Yao Village Scenic Spot in Jiangyong County.
 
The festival was co-sponsored by the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Yongzhou Municipal People’s Government. The theme of the festival is "Meeting in Jiangyong of Picturesque Yongzhou". During the festival, activities such as Yongzhou Cultural Tourism Products and Food Exhibition, Yongzhou Cultural Tourism Image Ambassador Selection, and women culture-themed tours were launched to enable tourists to experience the charm of culture and tourism integration.

Hunan Province has held the four seasons-themed rural tourism festival for seven consecutive years. This year, the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial People’s Government decided to hold tourism development conference annually to promote interconnected development of tourism in multiple places.

Jiangyong County is rich in cultural tourism resources. Holding the festival in the county is aimed at promoting the development of cultural tourism in various places and preparing for the first Hunan Tourism Development Conference. The day before the opening of the festival, companies from Hunan Province and Shenzhen City signed 15 investment projects worth 3.835 billion yuan in the county.

Yongzhou City is rich in tourism resources. At present, three of the city's counties, cities or districts are established as national all-for-one tourism demonstration zones.
