The energy station is adjacent to the Leifeng Sewage Pumping Station in the south. It combines the sewage source heat pump system, combined cooling, heating and power (CCHP, also known as trigeneration), water chilling units, and gas boiler techniques to realize the function of heating and cooling. 

The energy station started construction in 2017, and is expected to be put into operation in the second half of this year. Upon operation, it can provide energy for buildings within 1.5 kilometers in a centralized way.
