During the 24 hours of April 28, there was one new asymptomatic COVID-19 case reported in Hunan (in Shaoyang City). There were no new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were no new cases out of quarantine. There were two people under medical observation (including one imported case).
 
Between 0:00 on July 20, 2021 and 24:00 on April 28, 2022, a total of 312 confirmed COVID-19 cases had been reported in Hunan (including 83 imported cases). There were 39 patients hospitalized, and no severe cases. Two hundred and seventy-three patients were discharged from hospitals (including 83 imported cases). No people had died.
