The Hunan provincial conference on promoting the optimization of business environment kicked off in Changsha on April 26, 2022. Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and governor of Hunan Province, attended and made speech. He asked to thoroughly implement President Xi Jinping's important exposition on optimizing the business environment, and resolutely accelerate the establishment of a market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized business environment that is at the forefront nationwide from ten perspectives, to give strong support to the implementation of the positioning, missions, and tasks of the "Three Hubs and Four New Missions" Strategy.
Provincial leaders Li Dianxun, Zhang Yingchun, Zhang Jianfei, He Baoxiang, Chen Fei, Wang Yi'ou, and Zhang Jian, and Deng Qunce, secretary-general of the People’s Government of Hunan Province, attended.

Governor Mao noted that in recent years, the government environment in Hunan Province has been continuously optimized, the market environment standardized, the legal environment purified, and the atmosphere of valuing and safeguarding business strengthened. Last year, Hunan's comprehensive scores in the "10,000 Private Enterprises' Evaluation on Business Environment" ranked among the top nationwide and in central regions. The satisfaction of enterprises and the public with government services reached 99.7%.
The municipal and prefectural governments joined the meeting at sub-venues.

He remarked that efforts should be resolutely made from ten perspectives to create an upgraded and optimized business environment in Hunan Province. We should resolutely:
- Raise the importance of the business environment;
- Polish the brand of “One-step Approval Process”;
- Promote reducing costs, easing burdens, and increasing efficiency;
- Enable the enterprises to enjoy the policy benefits conveniently, fully, and quickly;
- Break the invisible barriers of the market;
- Promote the clearing of leftover problems related to enterprises;
- Ensure standardized and fair law enforcement related to enterprises;
- Offer inclusive and high-quality services to enterprises;
- Safeguard legitimate rights and interests of enterprises; and,
- Take responsibilities for optimizing the business environment.
