On April 24, the construction of the auxiliary structure and the steel roof building has entered the final stage at Shuanghu Station, part of the West Ring Line Project Phase Ⅰ of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan (CZT) Intercity Rail Transit. The project is one of Changsha’s “Top 10 Infrastructure Projects” in 2022. At present, the main structures of 8 stations and bridges on the whole line have been completed, and decoration and electromechanical installation are in progress. It is expected to be put into trial operation at the end of this year, and will be seamlessly connected to Changsha Metro Line 3 after its opening to traffic. By then, the commute time between Changsha and Xiangtan will be shortened to 20 minutes. (Photo/Tian Chao and Chen Xin, Hunan Daily)
