On April 20, Mr. Shi Minmao, a representative inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage, taught students to play lusheng, a traditional reed-pipe wind instrument, in the classroom at the No. 1 Elementary School, Tongdao Dong Autonomous County.

The school has been actively exploring the new teaching methods on the premise of “double reduction” policy since this semester. It has incorporated intangible cultural heritage such as lusheng and songs of Dong minority into the teaching content of after-school services. It has also invited the intangible cultural heritage inheritors to teach students in the classroom, enabling the pupils to feel the charm of intangible cultural heritage.
