The Hunan tax authorities have recently launched a series of measures to stabilize foreign trade and facilitate export tax rebates or exemption processing.
According to the notice issued by the Hunan Provincial Tax Service of the State Taxation Administration, the measures include:
-- Advanced manufacturing enterprises and large-scale key foreign trade enterprises are included in the scope of the "handling export tax rebate or exemption immediately when the declaration is submitted," and the time needed for the service is within two working days;
-- The experience of giving priority to an export tax rebate or exemption is replicated and advanced in start-ups; and,
-- Category-based management of export enterprises is implemented according to the "credit + supervision" mechanism.
In addition, the Hunan tax authorities will also focus on supporting pilot work such as cross-border e-commerce and departure tax rebates and implement the value-added tax (VAT) exemption policy for market procurement trade and cross-border e-commerce retail exports. Statistics show that in the first quarter of this year, Hunan has granted export tax rebates or exemptions worth 6.028 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.36%.
Wang Jianping, deputy director of the Hunan Provincial Tax Service of the State Taxation Administration, said that the tax authorities further optimize services, speed up export rebates, and grant enterprises accurate and total tax funds, and support the development of foreign trade enterprises.
