With the last prefabricated module assembled, the main structure of Changsha Zhongjing Hospital was completed on the evening of April 15. Equipment installation and commissioning for the makeshift hospital have begun in a comprehensive way. The construction of the hospital will be completed and the hospital will meet relevant conditions of operation at the end of this month.

The hospital is located in the north of Changsha. More than 2,000 workers have spent over 20 days and nights to build the hospital with a capacity of 2,320 beds. The hospital will lay a solid foundation for Changsha to do a better job in normalized epidemic prevention and control, respond more forcefully and effectively to epidemic outbreaks, and protect the health and safety of the people.
