The second batch of 264 passengers of the train G2190 were transferred to their homes in batches through closed-loop management on April 14, when their centralized medical isolation in Hunan's Loudi City came to an end.

So far a total of 579 passengers of the train have been removed from medical observation. Since March 30, the travelers were placed in centralized isolation in Loudi due to a confirmed COVID-19 cased reported on the train.

During the isolation period, the CPC committees and governments at all levels in Loudi City offered 24-hour services for the passengers, including health monitoring, daily life service, and psychological counseling. These efforts aimed to make them feel at home.

"Solid efforts have been made to ensure living security and health service at quarantine venues. Customized services have been prepared to meet diversified needs of different passengers,” said a relevant person in charge of the Loudi City Headquarters for COVID-19 Prevention and Control. The person in charge added, "We sent medicines to people with chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes, bought toys for children, and adjusted recipes according to passengers' eating habit."

Local governments of isolation sites also prepared specialty products for passengers who returned home. "It is very heartwarming. It makes me feel at home when staying in this unfamiliar city. I hope to visit Loudi again in the future," said Han Chao (pseudonym) who is from Gansu Province in northwest China.
