On March 12, an exhibition of rice seedling transplanting and throwing and new agricultural machinery was held at the "Four-High" (high-standard, high technique, high quality, and high output) grain production base in Chunhua Town, Changsha County. A launching ceremony of Changsha's first academician-led agricultural projects and also the "Four-High" grain production comprehensive demonstration area was held on that day. The Changsha Municipal People's Government reached an agreement with the Hunan Academy of Agricultural Sciences to launch the construction of the "Four-High" Grain Production Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone.
