During the 24 hours of April 12, Hunan reported two new local confirmed COVID-19 cases (one in Shaoyang and one in Loudi). No imported confirmed cases were reported.  
 
During the 24 hours of April 12, there was one new asymptomatic COVID-19 case reported in Hunan (imported case). There were no new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were no new cases out of quarantine. There were 10 people under medical observation (including 3 imported cases).
 
Between 0:00 on July 20, 2021 and 24:00 on April 12, 2022, a total of 269 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 83 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 20 patients hospitalized (including one imported case), and no severe cases. Two hundred and forty-nine patients were discharged from hospitals (including 82 imported cases). No people had died.
