The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing recently released a list of 2021 demonstration cases for public and SOE procurement. The CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd. was shortlisted for its project on constructing a new-generation intelligent, efficient, and controllable supply chain network.

The CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Launched a standard procurement and supply chain system in 2021. This system is based on the crrcgo platform, a unified supply chain collaboration platform of CRRC. It standardizes the business processes of the company, integrates interior working systems, and sets up a portal for suppliers. It is a network of procurement and supply chain focusing on data sharing and business collaboration, and can be extended and implemented in different application scenarios.

The shortlisted project systematically summarized CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive’s construction experience of the procurement and supply chain network that would be replicable and scalable. It stood out from more than 150 candidate cases and was recognized in expert review.

There were other 42 outstanding cases in procurement sector, including the China Unionpay, China Mobile, and China Telecom.
