Changsha's value-added industrial output rose by 10% year-on-year in the January-February period, ranking 8th among provincial capitals in China, according to the latest data released by the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology recently.
Facing a new round of epidemic outbreak since March, Changsha has coordinated epidemic prevention and control and industrial economic development. The move aimed to ensure a good and stable start of the industrial economy in the first quarter.
Affected by the epidemic, some enterprises have encountered problems such as blocked logistics and transportation channels and restricted personnel flow. In response to this, Changsha has beefed up targeted assistance to these enterprises, and focused on assisting them in coordinating and solving problems such as factor guarantee, logistics and transportation, supply and supporting facilities, and recruitment and employment.
The city also issued the “Several Opinions on Alleviating the Difficulties of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Changsha”, in an effort to provide policy support for enterprises and help them tide over difficulties. The new document centers on reducing the burden on enterprises, supporting the financing of small and medium-sized enterprises, helping enterprises expand markets, and offering joint services to key enterprises.
