During the 24 hours of April 7, there were no new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases reported in Hunan. There were no new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were 2 new cases out of quarantine (including one imported case). There were 11 people under medical observation.
 
Between 0:00 on July 20, 2021 and 24:00 on April 7, 2022, a total of 267 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 83 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 29 patients hospitalized (including one imported case), and no severe cases. Two hundred and thirty-eight patients were discharged from hospitals (including 82 imported cases). No people had died.
