During the 24 hours of April 4, there were 2 new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases reported in Hunan (including 1 imported case). There were no new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were 3 new cases out of quarantine (imported cases). There were 18 people under medical observation (including 7 imported cases).
 
Between 0:00 on July 20, 2021 and 24:00 on April 4, 2022, a total of 264 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 82 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 36 patients hospitalized, and no severe cases. Two hundred and twenty-eight patients were discharged from hospitals (including 82 imported cases). No people had died.
