During the 24 hours of March 28, there were 2 new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases reported in Hunan. There were no new asymptomatic cases re-categorized as confirmed ones. There were 7 new cases out of quarantine (imported cases). There were 14 people under medical observation (including 12 imported cases).
 
Between 0:00 on July 20, 2021 and 24:00 on March 28, 2022, a total of 251 confirmed COVID-19 cases (including 82 imported cases) had been reported in Hunan. There were 55 patients hospitalized (including 8 imported cases), and no severe cases. One hundred and ninety-six patients were discharged from hospitals (including 74 imported cases). No people had died.
