A few days ago, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Central Civilization Office launched a voluntary service campaign for epidemic prevention and control in Jilin Province. It called for all local authorities to support Jilin’s fight against the epidemic. The Hunan Provincial Civilization Office and the Hunan Provincial Volunteer Service Office actively responded to the call and quickly launched a work plan to support Jilin, and coordinated and collected various epidemic prevention materials. Member units of the Hunan Voluntary Service Working Committee launched mobilization meetings promptly, including the working committee of departments directly under the Hunan government, the Hunan Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Hunan Provincial Women's Federation, the Red Cross Society of China Hunan Branch, and the Hunan Federation of Trade Unions. More than 30 caring units overcame the difficulties of local epidemic prevention pressure and donated anti-epidemic supplies. The units include the Hunan Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Hunan Science and Technology Museum, the Hunan Rice Association, Changsha Railway Transportation Procuratorate, Zhangjiajie City Civilization Office, Changsha Qunying Association, and Chenzhou Volunteer Service Federation.

The supplies worth more than 720,000 yuan included 686,100 medical masks, 53,500 KN95 masks, and 378 boxes of protective clothing, medical masks, gloves, and disinfectants. In order to deliver the anti-epidemic materials to Jilin as soon as possible, the China Post Hunan Branch opened a green corridor, and sent experienced drivers with high political quality and excellent performance to fulfill the task.

According to relevant person in charge of the Hunan Provincial Civilization Office, the first batch of materials worth more than 200,000 yuan donated by the non-profit organization Changsha Qunying Association have been put into use in Jilin. Anti-epidemic and winter protection materials raised by the Hunan Construction Engineering Group, Hunan Gold Group, Hunan Xiangtou Holdings Group and other provincial units, enterprises, and social organizations will be transported to Jilin by stages and in groups.
